Weekend For Woodcarvers

Spoonies in the Tweed is more than a relaxed weekend retreat for those who love to carve and whittle. Held on a 40 hectare private property in  glorious rural surroundings, it's an opportunity to learn from master woodcarver and woodwork teacher Robert (Bob) Howard.

You can camp onsite or take advantage of nearby options for accommodation. The camp is held over the weekend of October 1–2 and is suitable for all levels. Spooncarving has a great tradition behind it and the creative interpretations of this form are limitless. You can see some of the action at last year's Spoonies event here.
