This year's Shanghai International Furniture Machinery & Woodworking Machinery Fair (WMF) was hailed a great success by the organisers. Exhibitors and buyers "found the fair fruitful where they could see upstream and downstream enterprises in furniture and woodworking industry gathering around in the same platform". In view of that, WMF will be "grandly held again" on 8–11 September 2019 in collaboration with CIFF (Shanghai), to showcase a wide array of stage-of-the-art equipment and technologies and to facilitate the sustainable development of the woodworking and furniture industry.

Apart from equipment for furniture manufacturing, the fair also covers various fields including panel board manufacturing, wood primary processing, forestry sawmill, wood architecture, wood products, etc. In the meantime, multiple conferences are organized for the industry players to share market information. WMF is greatly acclaimed for its professional services and high familiarity with market development by exhibitors, visitors and delegations who travelled from all around the world to participate in the fair in 2018.

WMF 2018 has successfully helped exhibitors and buyers forge closed relationships and tap into business opportunities. With the view of benefiting the woodworking and furniture manufacturing industry at large, WMF will upgrade its services and take a step forward to Industry 4.0 in September 2019.
