All over Australia woodturners are sweating over the final touches on their pieces for Australia's only truly dedicated to lathe art exhibition that takes place annually in Nunawading, Victoria.

The Australian Woodturning Exhibition will open its doors to the public from June 5 to 7 at the Waratah Rooms, Whitehorse Centre, 397 Whitehorse Rd, Nunawading, Vic.

Each year turners create works for a comprehensive range of categories including bowls, vases, lidded containers, clocks, pens, identical pairs, miniatures and many more, in fact a new category of ornamental turning has been added.

See www.theaustralianwoodturningexhibition.net for more information.

The images featured here are just a very small selection of those that featured in the 2014 exhibition and just a foretaste of the level of artistry you can expect to see!
