Timber and tools galore: workshop sale

On Saturday 3 June 2023, Damion Fauser will host a hand tool and timber demonstration and sales event at his Brisbane workshop.

Damion will have a great range of furniture-grade timbers available for sale. Domestic species include jarrah, Tasmanian blackwood, Victorian ash, hoop pine, rose alder and more, whilst imported species include American white oak, New Guinea rosewood, American ash, makore, rock maple, walnut, cherry and more.

‘It’s probably my largest ever holdings of stock in terms of variety of species and board sizes. There are pallets of epic shorts, long and wide boards in high-grade furniture boards, luthiery and boxmaking boards. Loads of smalls for the carvers and spoonies...’, said Damion.

Long and wide boards are available in many species, with thicknesses ranging from 25–50mm roughsawn. Shorts, smalls and offcuts are also available, with payment options on the day including cash, EFT and credit card.

In addition, Terry Gordon and Steve Hay will be conducting multiple demonstrations on setting up and using the suite of HNT Gordon and Harold and Saxon tools and vices.

Attendees who register their email address upon arrival will go into the draw for two door prizes – a ringed gidgee HNT Gordon spokeshave from Terry and a $250 timber voucher from Damion.

Entry is free, and the event will run from 930am–3pm at 4/14 Buttonwood Place Willawong, Qld 4110. Carparking is available in the complex carpark and also on the street in the quiet cul-de-sac where Damion's workshop is located.
