Sturt School Tools & Techniques weekend

 

Sturt School for Wood’s Tools & Techniques weekend has become much more than an annual meet-up and information sharing event for woodworkers and woodwork lovers. With a select range of fine toolmakers and fine wood retailers this is also a weekend with special purchasing opportunities.

Here’s the list of retailers who will be in attendance: Allwood Specialty Timbers, Colen Clenton, Dunstone Design, Japanese Tools, Jim Davey Planes & Sharpening, Lie Nielsen Australia, Livos, HNT Gordon Classic Planes, Tetsu Vintage Japanese Tools, Repair Café, Vesper Tools, Whittle Waxes, and more.

On top of that visitors can expect to see woodwork demonstrations conducted by leading furniture makers. And on top of that Sturt Gallery will present Edge – Exploring Boundaries, the latest exhibition of work by Studio Woodworkers Australia. The exhibition will be officially opened at 11am by David Boucher, Founder and CEO of Boucher & Co.
