We were sent a Worksharp Knife & Tool Sharpener to test. Named after Ken Onion, knife maker and inventor, this is a US-made flexible belt system that sits on your benchtop and offers an easy-to-operate sharpening solution.
Adjust the angle guides and draw the blade through at a steady pace while you press the power switch with the other hand to activate the motor. Sharpen the other side using the other guide. Change to finer belts to remove the burr you created. That’s about it. Easy, and it works.
Kitchen, serrated, pocket, hunting and other knives, plus axes, hatchets and scissors can all be sharpened.
