Rebranded: Craft + Design Canberra

‘Craft + Design Canberra combines the strengths of both Craft ACT: Craft + Design Centre and the Design Canberra Festival, building on our 52 year legacy of supporting the best in contemporary Craft + Design of our region’, said Jodie Cunningham CEO and Artistic Director (shown above). ‘Our new name provides incredible opportunities for year round collaborations and activations to celebrate Canberra as a creative capital and a global city of design.’

The new Craft + Design Canberra is seen as a way of connecting local artists, designers and makers with the wider community through a membership program, exhibitions, public programs, outreach activities and retail space. 

‘Uniting our two brands gives us a stronger voice and enables us to build on our partnerships, collaborations and activities, providing year-round benefits for our members and our community’, said Jodie Cunningham.
