There's nothing woolly about the 'mammoth' stash of timber that Alastair Boell is about to sell off. As a whole, it represents one maker's decade of accumulating, air drying and finish milling a range of natives and exotics. Alastair is a master craftsman who is well known as the founder of the Melbourne Guild of Fine Woodworking.

'The timber from these logs has been salvaged from some very "significant" places in Melbourne', said Alastair. 'These are beautiful woods saved from the chipper; lovingly milled, and now ready to be made into beautiful furniture.'
