Would you like to spend six weeks developing your skills alongside Michael Fortune next summer?

Applications are now open to spend six weeks in an open workshop tutored by renowned Canadian designer maker Michael Fortune and Lou Fuller, Centre For Fine Woodworking instructor in New Zealand next year.

The Michael Fortune Residency & Open Studio Program runs from January 15 to February 23, 2024. Applications close May 1, 2023, with places offered on June 1.

Participants need to be highly motivated and with sufficient skills and experience to work independently on their own project. Michael Fortune will be creating a piece of his own work and will be available for mentoring, guidance, consultation and tutorship at specific times each day. Lou Fuller, resident CFW tutor, will also teach as well as work on her own project.
