‘As entries to the 21st Australian Timber Awards are based online, we are going ahead with this year’s awards’, says Andrew Dunn, CEO, Timber Development Association.

The Australian Timber Design Awards are open to builders, designers, architects, engineers, joiners and landscapers: to anyone involved in the design or building of structures that feature timber. A Rising Star Award is available to students and entrants aged 35 or under.

Time is of the essence however as entries close in July. Registration is free however processing fees range from $240 to $420.

Categories include furniture/joinery plus several for commercial and residential architectural and interior work. The judging period commences in July 2020 and will be conducted via online meeting platform. A decision on the awards presentation evening; which is currently scheduled for mid-October 2020, will be made closer to the date.
