After the prolonged hiatus of COVID, the Eltham & District Woodworkers Club anticipate another successful exhibition in 2022 – this year on the weekend of November 12 and 13.

The exhibition is run in the Eltham Community & Reception Centre, 801 Main Road, Eltham, Victoria as a part of the Rotary Eltham Festival. The Club is a not for profit group which promotes skills in many woodwork disciplines, and which interfaces with various community sectors such as Healthability, local schools in Nillumbik, CFA stations as well as Nillumbik Council. The club has 125 members with an age range from early 20s to 90s.

At the exhibition, apart from showing finished works, there will be demonstrations of many of the club members' diverse skills including scroll sawing, woodturning, guitar/mandolin making, woodcarving, boxmaking, planing timber and bush carpentry.

Admission is free and EFTPOS will be available for purchases from the exhibition and sales table. A raffle will be drawn on Sunday at 4.30pm – prizes include a Japanese inspired ironbark garden seat, redgum coffee table, jewellery box, turned bowl, ukulele and a giant connect 4 game.
