Steve Hay invites planemaker Terry Gordon into his e-workshop to demonstrate how to join drawer components using only a 1/4” dado plane.
The joints Terry makes were once commonly used for quality furniture and cabinetmaking. The drawer front is joined to the sides with a double-tongue joint. The drawer back is joined to the sides with a groove and tongue joint.
