Entries are now open for the Clarence Prize, a biennial, acquisitive exhibition that celebrates accessible furniture art. It is open to furniture designers and craftspeople operating within Australia.

The Clarence Prize offers an overall acquisitive prize of $20,000 along with two non-acquisitive prizes of $1,500 each for highly commended and emerging designer entries.

The exhibition is held in the historic Rosny Barn, Tasmania and runs from October 24 –November 22, 2020. Entries are shortlisted according to criteria that includes aesthetics, craftsmanship, ingenuity in function and sustainability. The deadline for entry is May 22, 2020 and there is an entry fee of $40.
