Bundaberg wood expo offers woodwork to see and buy

The Bundaberg Woodworkers Guild Wood and Craft Expo is a community event open to everyone. This year is the 30th Wood and Craft Expo. A two-day event, expo has something for all ages and attracts visitors from the Bundaberg and wider Queensland community.

Visitors can expect to see a wide range of craft including painting, wooden toys, turned items, jewellery, intarsia, furniture and other arts and crafts. Guild members will demonstrate woodturning, carving, scrollsaw work, pen making and pyrography. There will also be displays by local craftspeople and collectors.

Trade suppliers will be in attendance with a range of woodworking supplies, timber and power tool sales. This year there will be both a chainsaw mill and Lucas mill operating. This is a great opportunity to pick up timber and slabs for your home projects.

Popular harpist Nerida Voss will entertain you and light refreshments will be available with a sausage sizzle and morning and afternoon tea.

When: Saturday November 16, 9am–4pm, Sunday November 17, 9am–12 noon
Where: Bundaberg Recreational Precinct, Main Pavilion, entry via Kendal’s Road
Morning and Afternoon Tea, Sausage Sizzle, Raffle & lucky door prize
$4 entry fee, children under 16 free
