Today Sturt Gallery celebrates its reopening with a new exhibition that showcases the talents of Sturt's creative community.

On March 24, Sturt's creative program and classes stopped and all planned exhibitions were cancelled. As Sturt emerges from a global crisis that has impacted every aspect of a normal way of living for so many people, it now showcases artists who make, sell, teach or mentor across all the Frensham school campuses of Frensham, Gib Gate in an all-inclusive celebration and 'salon' style exhibition that features furniture, ceramics and jewellery as well as painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and more.

A Circle of Makers features work by:

Furniture: Ian Bromley, Eliza Mansell, Steve Giannuzzi, Peter Young
Paintings and prints: Sue Meredith, Phoebe Middleton, Sara Farmer, Slavica Zivkovic, Phil Alldis
Photographs: Sophie Piper
Ceramics: Simon Bowley, Tracey Mitchell, Louise Boscacci
Jewellery: Corinne Snare
Wood: Andrew McMillan

Weekly classes in woodwork, jewellery/metalwork, weaving and ceramics will restart at the beginning of term 3 (week commencing 20 July).
