Shortlisted for Awards

From July 8–10, 2016 Brisbane will be a meeting point for the Australian furniture and furnishing manufacturing and design industries.

Staged this year at Brisbane’s Convention Centre, Furnitex & Design attracts an estimated 10,000 people who will view displays from over 250 exhibitors and participate in a conference led by international and local speakers and presenters.

Furnitex & Design is the industry’s annual showcase and is organised by the Australian Furniture Association.

A panel of industry experts will award entrants in a range of categories for the Australian Furniture Industry Awards (AFIA), the Australian Contemporary Emerging Design Awards (ACE) and the recently announced Timber Medallion sponsored by Wood Solutions. Wood Review Editor Linda Nathan will be one of the judges for the ACE and Timber Medallion Awards.
