Socially distant and all masked up the Melbourne Guild of Fine Woodworking has opened its doors to students again.

Although the MGFW must postpone their Hand Tool Event originally timed for July due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the guild is proud to announce the re-opening of their school! ‘There are still many interesting courses you can attend this year, such as the Shaker bentwood box, the Roorkee chair, netsuke carving, tool sharpening, kumiko and the perch stool, just to name a few!’

Times may have changed but the invitation of school owners, operators and teachers Jacqueline and Alastair Boell couldn’t be clearer: ‘Come along and be part of this wonderful woodworking community!’
