The latest issue of Australian Wood Review features a project from Steve Hay showing how to make 'An Easy Kitchen Set'.
This beginner project takes you through the steps of making a cutting board and knife block. Steve uses pine as the main timber and adds a striped detail by gluing up the board with layers of contrasting ply.
In the video below Steve shows you some of the techniques he uses, and has a surprise visit from another craftsman towards the end.
