Meet Patrick Skeen: 2015 Student Award Winner

Patrick Skeen won the award for Best Hand Skills in Wood Review's Student Awards 2015. Here Patrick gives Wood Review editor Linda Nathan a quick tour of his beautifully made Huntboard cabinet.

Patrick, then a student at Cherrybrook Technology High School won an adjustable square and cutting gauge from Colen Clenton Tools and a $50 voucher from Carbatec. A full list of winners and highly commended entries was published in the March issue of Wood Review (#90).

Patrick's cabinet was also selected for the annual Institute of Industrial Arts Technology Education (IIATE) display at the recent Sydney Timber & Working With Wood Show.

Cherrybrook Technology High School also won a Triton Tools Workcentre sponsored by Triton Tools as well as a $150 voucher from Carbatec on account of Patrick's great work. Patrick's teacher was Kimberley Wilson.
