The immediate success of the inaugural Lost Trades Fair caught the locals and even organisers Glen and Lisa Rundell off-guard. On one weekend in March 2014, 7000 people flocked to the country Victorian town of Kyneton to learn about and celebrate trade and artisan skills.
Since then the fair has now also run twice in Toowoomba, Queensland at Cobb & Co Museum, and this year Lost Trades Fair will run in New South Wales as well.

In Victoria the fair will take place on the weekend of March 9–10 and this year will host international and local artisans who will conduct workshops and demonstrate their crafts. Workshops focus on furniture making, woodcarving and other skills however many are now sold out. The event itself has a capped attendance figure so find out about booking tickets soon if you do intend to go.
Following Kyneton, Lost Trades Fair takes place this year in Toowoomba May 4 and 5, and in Hawkesbury, NSW on October 5 and 6.
