Laguna Tools now distributed by Carbatec
Carbatec is proud to announce their appointment as the exclusive distributor of Laguna Tools in Australia and New Zealand.
For 36 years, Laguna Tools, a California based company, have been innovating in the woodworking space. They are now firmly established as a world-class premium woodworking brand.
Laguna has joined forces with Carbatec to expand their machinery range and availability in Australia and New Zealand. With a proud heritage, family-owned Carbatec recently celebrated their 33rd birthday and continue to strengthen their position as Australia’s largest retailer of woodworking tools and accessories and a one-stop-shop for woodworkers.

The first shipments of Laguna Machinery are due to arrive in Australia in August. The initial launch range will include bandsaws, sanders and lathes, followed closely in the following months by the rest of the Laguna range offering. Simon explains “our engineers have been working closely with Laguna’s to ensure that Australian woodworkers will have access to the latest in woodworking machinery.”
