It's time!...new wood show format launches March 22

Visitors are promised all-things wood and a whole lot more at the new Timber Tools & Artisan Shows which are due to launch in Brisbane, March 22 – 24, 10am – 4pm daily.

Last year the Timber & Working Wood Shows were acquired by Phoenix Exhibitions who planned to recast the shows in a new and much broader format. As promised, the renamed Timber Tools & Artisan Shows are being rolled out in 2019, commencing with Brisbane and then Sydney (June 7–9), Melbourne Aug 23–25), Canberra (Nov 1–3).

Next week, visitors to Marquee 1 at the RNA Showgrounds can expect to see woodworking related displays and demos plus a range of creative modalities including blacksmithing, knifemaking and ceramics as well as mural, mosaic, epoxy resin, steam punk and other artists. All this on top of wood show favourites such as Hare & Forbes, Gregory Machinery, Woodwork Machinery…Plus, Record Power, Jim Davey, Arbortech, Combined Saw and Knife, CL Tool Centre, Liberon as well as popular demonstrators Theo Haralampou and Steve Hayles. The list of exhibitors and demonstrators is here.

Parents can enjoy the drop-off Kids Creative Space and workshops run by Flying Fox Studios. Catering will be provided food truck alley style with a diverse menu on offer.
