Design Talk for DATTA

For those near to Cairns, Qld Monday April 16, from 11:30 to 3pm, there is an opportunity to hear a presentation by one of Australia's foremost hand tool makers and machinery engineers.

Chris Vesper of Vesper Tools will address the  the Design and Technology Teachers Assoc of Qld Professional Development on the topic of Design and Manufacturing in the Real World. Chris will cover concepts of design vs style and outline some of the rules of design.

His presentation will include a practical demonstration on making a marking knife handle from a design and practicality perspective.
