Concept
To produce a chair that gives the impression
of elegance, stability and balance. A
chair that makes you walk around it and
admire the changes in shape, contrast
in colour and light, symmetry, surface,
orientation and balance—all the
things make for a good sculpted form.
The Fusion Chair was designed with all
these elements in mind.
The chair complements my dining suites
and has a stand alone quality. My study
of bending techniques during my Winston
Churchill Fellowship allowed me to develop
the techniques to produce this design.
