‘Having spent time looking at the modular change-tables on the market and becoming increasingly frustrated at their obvious fragility, I decided to make my own. Function was of high importance, including meeting Australian Standards, but I felt there was room for aesthetic appeal as well. My objective was to blend classical design and joints with the functionality necessary and I wanted the piece to be used long after our child was out of nappies.’
