Robin Krieg
Brookstead, Qld

‘This entry is made from old silky oak windows, western red cedar and hoop pine. I wanted a cabinet to hold my boots, slippers, belts, ties and clothes when one comes home late instead of them being thrown on the floor.’

‘This is a coffee table come storage box made from the cast iron ends from an old horse drawn seeding machine (late 1800s) made in Canada. They were found on our family farm at ‘Glen Royal’, Brookstead. The timber is oregon pine from a shipping container that brought one of the first imported Arab stallions from England to Australia in the early 1950s. The horses travelled as deck cargo via the Cape of Good Hope.’
