Dunny door table
‘Recently
our daughter salvaged a dunny door from
a 100 year old Queenslander and I was
asked to make a ‘dunny door table’
for her. After removing four or five coats
of paint with stripper scrapers, electric
sanders and many hours of hand sanding,
the beautiful hoop pine timber was revealed.
The legs I used were on a small trailer
ready to go to the dump—just what
I was looking for!’ |
