Michael Domajnko
Year 12, Loyola College

‘This is a two-piece square coffee table setting made from recycled jarrah, messmate and redgum from an old wool factory in the Northern Territory, hence the name given to the tables. The legs have been made from old fence posts and the under tray from recycled jarrah decking. I wanted to create a beautiful looking recycled table collection that had some background to it from where the materials had come from. It was a huge challenge for me, however in the end I could not be happier with my result.’
