was sourced from a scientist who salvaged
the old bench tops during a renovation
of Melbourne University science labs.
The box is Shaker inspired and joined
on the corners with hand cut dovetails.
For a contemporary streak a contrasting
myrtle piece was designed as a feature
for the box and inlay either side of the
key hole.’
