Boob Boxes
English lime, Tasmanian myrtle
These ‘Boob’
boxes are made from English lime with
Tasmanian myrtle lids.
As specified in the entry, they can be
picked up in two hands.
After a lifetime of careful study, I find
myself relying on memory for the shape
and form, and have been informed that
my entry is not politically correct and
borders on poor taste, so I will completely
understand should it not feature in your
prestigious magazine.
There was consideration given to halving
the workload by entering only one, perhaps
highlighting the breast cancer cause and
radical mastectomy suffered by many women
all over the world, but I thought like
the bloke I am, a pair should be there.
Apologies for the deadline entry (again),
but it seems there are many strange people
out there, who want chainsaw carvings.
It’s an odd way to earn a living,
but someone has to do it.
Perhaps Wood Review will have a future
competition where I may be able to use
some of these off-beat acquired skills.
